I had a really busy day today, so this is going to be short. I will expand more tomorrow.
Questions to consider :
Why is Hannah described as a woman of faith by people today?
How was she rewarded?
What reaction have you had to any difficulties you have faced lately?
How did you handle the way others reacted to the situation?
Has the Lord answered any of your prayers lately? Have any of your prayers gone unanswered?
What do you think Hannah's life was like after she gave Samuel to the Lord? She kept her vow to God. What types of vows have you made to God and others? Are you trying your best to keep these vows?
If you have children, are you preparing them for a life dedicated to God? Do you read to them and teach them the stories in the Bible? Do you pray with them - at times other than meals? Do they see you reading and studying?
Tomorrow....the power of God's promises and the power of prayer.
